We hope you enjoy our virtual costume shop. Most of our unique costumes, have been made exclusively for our shop and are available only for rent. 


Our Staff

The Costume Company is owned and managed by Jeanne McPartland Keenan, a costumer for over 25 years. Jeanne's experience working in TV, film and theater have made her one of Boston's best known and respected designers. She is a member of the National Costumers' Association, the Costume Society of America and is a member of IATSE Local 41, New England Studio Mechanics. She has been quoted extensively in such media outlets as the Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, Improper Bostonian and Reuters and has appeared on television.

The creative and sales staff of the Costume Company includes seamstresses, costume designers and theater craftsmen.

Staff members have experience working in the costume shops of the:
